Pop Design is the team of Chad Planner and Katie Lauer — design professionals with more than 40 years of combined industry experience. Since Pop’s founding in 1999, the agency has worked with global companies such as Procter & Gamble, Atari, Meritor and Worldpay and brands including Sunny Delight®, Veryfine®, Dawn®, and Fruit2o®. We are also extremely proud of the work we have done locally with The Banks Public Partnership, Uptown Consortium, and Harriet Beecher Stowe House — helping to make Cincinnati the fantastic city it is.

We continue to make it a priority to dedicate time and resources to community efforts including The Art of Giving, Greater Cincinnati Homeless Coalition, LIFE Food Pantry, and Green Umbrella to give back to the community that has been such a wonderful place to run a business for more than two decades. Our offices are located in the historical Over-the-Rhine district in downtown Cincinnati, nestled between Findlay Market and Music Hall and a block east of FC Cincinnati’s TQL Stadium.

CHAD PLANNER
Chad is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Visual Communication. After gaining work experience at a variety of advertising agencies and publishing companies including Freedman Gibson & White, LPK and F&W Publications, Chad founded Pop in 1999. He and his wife Donna live in Loveland where they have raised their two daughters (and two dogs). Outside of the office, Chad is a volunteer and board member at LIFE Food Pantry and Goalkeeping Director at Cincy Elite Football Club.

KATIE LAUER
Katie is dedicated to helping brands thrive by portraying their identity across print and digital platforms. She combines design and function while developing, analyzing and optimizing websites, email marketing, print production and everything in-between. Katie is a graduate of Miami University and currently resides in northern Kentucky with her husband and three kiddos.
