Leadership

Our company was founded by Chad Planner, a graduate of the Design School at The Ohio State University. Chad gained agency and publishing experience before starting Pop in 1999 and serving as it’s creative lead. He and his wife Donna have been active residents of Loveland, a suburb of Cincinnati, for more than 20 years where they raised their two daughters. After 25 years, Chad stepped aside to work for CRRH, a local environmental nonprofit, as their Executive Director. He is a Sustainability Team member at LIFE Food Pantry, volunteer for Loveland Sustainability Council, and recent member of the City of Loveland Environment Committee.

With more than two decades of experience at Pop, Katie Lauer now serves as the agency’s Director. She joined Pop in 2005 after earning a design degree from Miami University. Katie has been integral to the success and growth of the company by overseeing the production of all traditional and digital projects. Katie and her husband Ben are raising three children in Fort Thomas, Kentucky, where she donates her time to the Fort Thomas School District.
