Branding a non-profit
The ONE (Organizations of Noteworthy Excellence) awards recognized non-profit organizations in the tri-state area for best practices and results. A team of trained examiners would review how successfully these organizations worked together to maximize their outcomes. The ones that shined were then given ONE Awards as well as professional consulting and funding. When Pop created the branding we simply embodied that concept in a logo — individual “1s” weaved together to create a star. The organizations that would receive these honors were all doing such important outreach in some very tough circumstances and the slightly “barbed” style to the star gave a nod to their amazingly difficult work.
